The castle of La Morra used to belong to Sordello da Goito,
one of Carlo d'Angiò's Knights. From 1300 onwards,
it was the property of the Falletti family. The Belvedere
restaurant stands on the site of this ancient castle and
looks out over one of the most beautiful "natural balconies"
of the Langhe. The Belvedere is one of the oldest restaurants
in Piedmont. It offers typical Piedmontese cuisine. The base ingredients
are carefully selected and are of the highest quality. When
in season the restaurant also offers traditional dishes made
with local mushrooms and the white truffle of Alba. |
